In March 2008, the television NOVA and the magazine of television news – Víkend filmed the reportage “Na dně – On the
Bottom” dealing with the lost underwater world under in the Orlická Reservoire. Milan Mezera, the author of the book “Co
odnesl čas a vltavská voda (What was carried away by time and by the waters of Vltava) ”, a local native and eyewitness
of the events was one of those who helped with localization of the flooded objects. Shots from under water were taken by
two film cameras – by Miloš Pilař and Radek Houfek, photos of the flooded objects were taken by Bohumil Bochňák with
flash assistance of Martin Rázl. The documented flooded objects were - an old gamekeeper's lodge and adjacent
agricultural buildings. Not far from the gamekeeper's lodge, even a well with a winch was found. Walls of the
constructions are preserved, with clearly visible shapes of window and door arches. Ceilings of the cellar rooms are
not stable. It is possible to find a great amount of original objects and tools here - such as pitchforks, cups,
utensils and parts of agricultural machines. The temperature of the water from the surface to the bottom is 4 degrees of
C., visibility 1 - 2 meters. Extremely wide-angle lenses were used both for photographic and film shots. The document
directed by Šárka Konířová was broadcasted by the television channel NOVA on the 28th April 2008 at 21:15 o'clock in
the programme Víkend.
