| COURSE SCUBA RANGER |

The program SCUBA RANGERS was created to enable involvement of children in diving activities, by means of which they
can acquire new life experiences. The SCUBA RANGERS program offers to children knowledge and skills that are necessary
for a safe diving, which will entertain them and appeal to them. The lessons take place not only in pools and open waters,
but also provide children with required amount of knowledge and skills such as in the course Open Water Diver, but it is
adapted to the children's level of understanding. Children, who learn to dive according to the Scuba Rangers program,
develop their self-confidence, discipline and self-respect. The program also stimulates children to achieve the given
objectives by means of work, self-control and entertainment. Participation in the club Scuba Rangers gives children the
possibility to learn more about the world around them, to meet new interesting people and friends and to deal with
something that they did not think possible until recently. The training is provided in an entertaining and playful manner,
which brings excitement, energy and sensual pleasure to children. |

CAPTAIN KELP:
When the cistern ship transporting hair
gels inattentively released its cargo into
the forest of seaweeds along the Californian
coastline, a mysterious chemical process
occurred. Thus the captain Kelp was born.
He is a leader of Scuba Rangers and
although he was born due to human
carelessness, he strives for protection and
preservation of clean sea. |

SPINER:
Spiner is a little sea devil, who waggles,
twirls and thereby he moves in the sea
depths. He is looking for entertainment.
Spiner is always searching for bold Scuba
Rangers, who are ready to play with him
under water. |

PUFFER:
Puffer is a madcap and does not respect
any rules. He has an impulsive character
and he can puff in any moment. He
represents a bad balance, so he needs
to always say to himself: “ Be calm and
never hold your breath.” |

HAMMERHEAD:
This sea dog with a head as a hammer
is the most obstinate and headstrong
creature from all the sea inhabitants,
whom you will ever meet. His stubbornness
always involves him in problems. That
is why you should never behave like
Hammerhed. Learn how important the
teamwork and cooperation is. |

CHIEF LIEUTENANT:
After he had proved many times that he
is exceptionally brave, the lieutenant
received a medal and he became a leader
of Scuba Rangers. He emits various diving
rules, such as for example: “ always breathe
regularly from your regulator.” |

STAR SCUBA RANGER:
The Star Scuba Ranger symbolizes assets
of a Scuba Ranger! Each tip of the star
contains a word, which describes the basic
features of a Scuba Ranger. These are:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EQUIPMENT,
RESPONSIBILITY and EXPERIENCE. The Star
Scuba Ranger is important, as it reminds
you of what you have achieved, how difficult
it was, and it shows it to others. |

The program SCUBA RANGERS is designed for children at the age of 8 to12 and takes place in groups from 3 to 5
students. A large assortment of teaching and complementary materials is available. The course usually takes place
in the pool, exceptionally in a protected water in sea, which is of course more entertaining for children.
Children will gradually learn the following skills in individual lessons of the course:
- swimming, diving backward and providing first aid
- knowledge of diving equipment and diving with it into the pool
- practical knowledge of diving skills, control of balance under the water
- purposefully coordinated movement under the water
- learn to perceive the underwater world and life of sea animals
- learn a lot of basic knowledge about diving and about impact of the water environment on Man |
