The base IGC DIVING PRAHA was founded in 2005 under the terms of the network of
diving bases SSI - Regional Center of Scuba Schools International Adriatic Group Croatia
under the number SSI 177. |

Scuba Schools International is the most important global training and teaching
organization for divers. SSI achieved its position due to their own innovative training
programs and strict observation of level and quality of lessons.

The school SSI is based on the one word – quality! Instructors SSI are allowed to teach
only in SSI facilities, which conscientiously check their professional level. SSI instructors
use their own highly effective method Comfort Through Repetition while teaching. Diving
skills thus become your second nature. And this is essential in diving – not only to unwind
and relax well, but also learn to know yourself better thanks to the water. SSI is the only
organization in the market with such an extent of internal self-control and responsibility.
It can be verified in more than 2000 facilities in more than 902 states all iver the world.
The certificate acquired with SSI will be accepted, when you dive anywhere in the world. |

SSI has an excellent reputation in Europe, also due to cooperation with several universities
that included training courses of SSI into their study programs. Three programs for divers
and two for instructors received certification according to EU standards already in 2005 (EN
14153-1 to -3 for divers and 14413-1 to -2 for scuba instructors). Owing to this fact, you
can find the logo of quality EUF on the identity cards of SSI confirming quality of the offered
services. As well as SSI is a leading organization in the market, it was also a founding
member of the Recreational Scuba Training Council (RSTC). This long-time membership in
RSTC and certification according to European standards represent the highest level of quality. |

SSI realizes its activities via the network of Regional Centers. The Regional Centers have
established contracts with SSI USA and they are distributors of SSI for particular territories.
In 1995, SSI Adriatic Group was founded as a Regional Centrum for those republics: Croatia,
Slovenia, Czechia and Slovakia, Macedonia and Black Mountain. The SSI Adriatic Group also
has the accreditation of the Ministry of Education of CZR for managing training programs
according to SSI standards. The residence of the SSI Adriatic Group is in Rijeka in Croatia.
In Czech Republic, SSI is represented by the SSI Adriatic Group - division Czech/Slovakia. |
